Rachel is working with Barton Gellman and the surveillance and privacy team as a member of the 2016 internship class on a combination of research and writing projects—ranging in topic from the intricacies of Facebook’s privacy policy to the cutting edge surveillance technologies employed by local law enforcement. She will be a junior at Princeton University in the fall, where she studies history as well as technology and society, and works as a technology consultant in the university’s Office of Information Technology. Previously, she interned for Representative Allyson Schwartz.
