Margaret Mattes is a former policy associate at The Century Foundation where she worked on higher education policy and is now pursuing her law degree. Her interests lie in consumer protection, along with the applications of social and education policy. Prior to joining Century, Margaret worked in the New York State Attorney General’s Criminal Enforcement and Financial Crimes Bureau. She also worked with the Social Science Research Council’s Measure of America project. Margaret was a member of Century’s 2014 Summer Intern class. She holds a BA in Political Science and Sociology from Columbia University.
