Imhotep Royster was a labor policy intern in 2014. Imhotep graduated from Harvard University in 2008 with a degree in Economics and from American University in 2013 with a master’s degree in Political Communication. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Imhotep is currently a law student at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. Upon graduation, he aims to practice employee-side employment law and union-side labor law. Between college and law school, Imhotep worked in New York City first for the league offices of the National Basketball Association and then as a proprietary trader. While in Washington DC, Imhotep interned on the Hill and for the National Football League Player’s Association, and later worked for Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) as a Press Assistant.
